What a crazy time
Like wildfire, the corona virus - COVID19 - has spread across the globe. At Northbridge Dentists, as an essential service, we have a part to play in keeping toothaches, facial swellings and dental infections out of the emergency department - and so we remain open. However we are taking a few extra precautions.
Staff:
None of our staff have been overseas since Jan 2020
Our staff do not come to work if they have cold/flu symptoms
Patients:
Patients will NOT be seen if they have been overseas in the past month. An extensive travel history will be taken
Patients will NOT be seen if they have contact with a known or suspect COVID-19 case
Patients will NOT be seen if they have cold/flu symptoms
Hand sanitiser is available on arrival and prior to departure, at the front desk
Practice
We continue to monitor the advice given by the Australian Dental Association (ADA), NSW Health and the Australian Government.
We are spacing appointment times to minimise cross-over between patients, alternating between different treating surgeries and space is available in the waiting room to “socially distance”
Our treatment rooms are well ventilated with doors and windows to allow fresh outside air to flow freely through the practice.
Our practice has passed accreditation with the QIP which is a voluntary process, signifying that our practice has attained the highest level of infection control. We are very proud to give our patients the confidence to have their treatment with these standards in mind and, with your co-operation, we are capable of minimising the spread of COVID19.
