Today Dr David Vickers was the recipient of the first COVID19 vaccine dose. “So what” you may ask? Well, despite administering injections every day, Dr David is terrified of receiving needles himself. That’s right, a dentist afraid of needles. Crazy! (but at least he understands what you go through in the dental chair!)
So it was a big deal to go along to the vaccine clinic and get his first round of COVID19 vaccine. Being a healthcare worker, Dr David was fortunate enough to be included in round “1b” of the vaccination program. Taking full advantage of this, despite his fear, he can’t wait to get his booster in 3 months time.
