Your dentist might be the best personal trainer!

If you didn't already know, gum disease and the more advanced "periodontal disease" has already established links with conditions such as cardiovascular disease and diabetes. However, perhaps more surprisingly, new research has come to light suggesting that gum and periodontal disease can actually UNDO or NEGATE your hard work when it comes to exercising.

Alarmingly, having bad gums is also linked to pre-term births and problems during pregnancy, in addition to overall shorter lifespan! Perhaps your next visit to the gym or jog around the block, should be followed closely by a visit to the dentist for that scale and clean! After all, it's better for your health!
